  • Count the number of people in your household.
  • x10Multiply "times ten"

Summary - P’CASO Today

The first operational law enforcement portion of the P’CASO partnership began in Fall, 2004. Now fully up and running, P’CASO consist of:

  • SPEAD (Sexual Predator Enforcement and Apprehension Detail). Four detectives regularly and proactively monitor known registered sex offenders in Fairfax County for strict compliance with the terms of their release from prison.
  • Internet Surveillance. A P'CASO detective now investigates online victimization of children fulltime, engaging with online predators before they can get to kids in real life.
  • Computer forensics. A P’CASO computer forensics detective analyzes information seized in the course of arrests to develop the evidence required to successfully prosecute predators.
